Camp Dalton Offers Weekly Outdoor Adventures
Dalton Park shopping centre is launching a free summer camp featuring weekly outdoor adventures and craft activities for families throughout August. The brand-new event series at Dalton Park will offer archery, scavenger hunts, and badge-making sessions every weekend to entertain children during the school holidays.
Youngsters taking part in the activities can collect a special badge during each visit to win an exclusive prize at the end of the month. Sessions run from 11am until 4pm every Saturday and Sunday, with advance booking available online for parents.
Explore 55 Acres of Parkland and More
Visitors can also explore the site's 55 acres of parkland alongside other popular seasonal attractions happening across the centre. Additional highlights include a dog agility course alongside an artisan market featuring more than 40 local traders selling handmade gifts and fresh food.
Centre Manager Expresses Excitement
Richard Kaye, centre manager at Dalton Park, said: "We're so excited to be launching Camp Dalton for the very first time this summer. We wanted to create something that gives families even more reasons to visit during the school holidays – somewhere children can get creative, embrace the outdoors and make lasting memories, while parents and grandparents can enjoy spending quality time together."
"Every visit to Camp Dalton will offer something different, from nature-inspired activities and crafts to exciting challenges and immersive experiences, so there's always a reason to come back. Alongside favourites like Strut Your Pup and our Summer Artisan Market, there's plenty happening across the centre to keep the whole family entertained throughout the summer."
