Farmarama Returns with Giant Paddling Pool and Beach

Farmarama at the National Forest Adventure Farm in Tatenhill, Burton, returns this summer with a giant sandy beach and five huge paddling pools, offering seaside fun without the long drive. The event runs from Saturday July 18 to Saturday September 1, 2026, daily throughout the six-week school holiday.

Twice the Size of Last Year

The sandy beach has doubled in size compared to 2025, featuring more than 400 tonnes of golden sand. Visitors can relax on deck chairs, enjoy ice cream, foam parties, seaside shows, and craft activities. The farm's owners, brothers Tom and Ivor Robinson, promise the 'biggest beach themed vibes yet'.

Discounts and Free Return Visits

Families can get £2.50 off normal ticket prices through the Government’s Great British Summer Savings scheme. Additionally, everyone who visits before Sunday August 23 receives a free return ticket valid during the summer holidays.

New for 2026

New this year is a crepe stand, joining beach hut-style food stalls including a Texan Smokehouse Grill, pizza parlour, coffee shop, and homemade ice cream. A 5-acre maize maze themed as a sun allows families to explore paths through corn growing up to 9ft tall.

Tom Robinson said: "Being outside has so many health benefits for children with the sea, sand and laughter of seaside holidays creating cherished memories for families. Burton is about as far away from the seaside as you can get in the UK, so with all this warm weather we wanted to help families enjoy the thrills and enjoyment of being at the beach without the long car journey to get there."
