Potential contestants must be aged 18 and over and available for a 10-week period during June and July 2027. The chosen cast will live in a luxury villa, getting to know one another while winning the hearts of the public and their fellow Islanders to remain in paradise.
Love Island All Stars 2027 Also Confirmed
In addition to the main summer series, ITV2 has also confirmed Love Island All Stars 2027. This spin-off will see former Islanders return to the villa in South Africa for a second chance at love. The All Stars edition has proven popular in previous years, adding to the franchise's enduring appeal.
Maya Jama's Future Uncertain
With the show's future secured, attention has turned to host Maya Jama. In an interview with Deadline, Jama was candid about her role. “I never know. I never decide if I’m doing the next series until the end of one. So it’s fake news that I’m leaving, but I always decide at the end of a series if I’m going to continue the next year. So we’ll find out,” she said. Jama took over from Laura Whitmore in 2022 and has hosted three summer series and one winter series since. Her decision on returning for 2027 will be made after the 2026 finale.
