More than 50 independent vendors will fill the stretch of New Street between The Ramp and the Bullring for a weekend of summer trading, offering a 'unique shopping experience' in Birmingham city centre.
Event Details and Dates
New Street Eats will take place from July 30 until August 2, running from 10am to 6pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and from 10am to 5pm on Sunday. The event features handmade crafts, gifts, and food from around the world.
What's on Offer
Sellers include makers of handmade jewellery, crochet flowers, bags, home decor and fragrances. Equation Fragrances will host a perfume bar where customers can create their own bespoke scent. Turkish mosaic lamps and original artworks will also be on sale.
Dining options range from Korean corndogs, Nepalese dumplings and authentic Thai dishes to Mexican tacos, Jamaican jerk chicken, teriyaki bowls, Caribbean favourites and slow-cooked BBQ brisket. Sweet treats include mini pancakes, chocolate strawberries, cinnamon rolls, artisan fudge, plant-based desserts and cookies.
Organiser's Vision

With an exciting mix of returning favourites and new traders, we're looking forward to welcoming thousands of visitors over the four days."
New Restaurant Opening
Separately, a new restaurant called Maki and Ramen is set to open on New Street on August 21, in King Edward House on the lower stretch where the market is located. It will serve sushi and noodles.
