Northfield Beach is set to return to Victoria Common for summer 2026, running from July 23 to 26. The free four-day event, organised by Northfield Community Partnership, will feature live music, arts and crafts, performances, and activities for all ages.
A Beloved Event Returns
This popular event had taken place for more than a decade before it was cancelled in 2024 due to lack of funds. However, it made a successful comeback in 2025, and fans are delighted to see it returning again this summer. A spokesman for Northfield Community Partnership said: "Northfield Beach is back this month from 23rd–26th July 2026! For four fantastic days, Victoria Common will be transformed into a FREE beach including arts and crafts, live music, performances, and activities for all ages."
What to Expect
Victoria Common, located on Church Road in Northfield, will host the event. The park already features a playground, an outdoor gym, a football pitch, and open fields for games and picnics. Attendees can enjoy a beach-themed atmosphere without leaving Birmingham. The event is one of many free activities available across the city this summer.
Getting There
The address is Victoria Common, Church Road, Northfield, Birmingham B31 2BB. Parking is available on Church Road and at Northfield Shopping Centre, which also provides access to the park. Alternatively, visitors can easily reach the venue by bus.
