Two major Panini World Cup sticker swap shops are opening at Birmingham's Bullring and Merry Hill shopping centres, offering collectors a chance to complete their sticker books without buying extra packs. The free events, hosted by toy retailer The Entertainer, run every Tuesday and Thursday from now until Thursday, July 16, between 3:30pm and 4:30pm, making them accessible for after-school participants.
Swap Shop Details and Accessibility
The swap shops are open to all collectors, regardless of where they purchased their sticker packs. The Entertainer stores at both Merry Hill and Bullring will host the events, which are free to attend. Attendees can also browse football-themed toys, collectibles, games, and limited-edition LEGO Editions sets featuring stars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, and Kylian Mbappé.
Community and Excitement
Jordan Wingrave, buyer at The Entertainer, stated: "The FIFA World Cup always creates huge excitement among football fans, and Panini stickers have become a special part of the tournament experience for families and collectors alike. Our sticker swap events are designed to bring fans together, helping them complete their collections and enjoy the buzz of the World Cup with fellow enthusiasts." He added: "We're excited to welcome families and collectors into our stores across the country to hunt down those missing players, complete their albums and explore our extensive range of football-themed toys, collectibles and games."
World Cup Context
The events coincide with England's Round of 16 match against Mexico on Monday, July 6, at their home turf. If England wins, Birmingham will host the largest World Cup fan zone in Europe. The swap shops conclude on July 16, three days before the World Cup final scheduled for Sunday, July 19.
