Peaky Blinders Movie Celebration Brings Free Drink Offer to Nottingham Pub

Fans of the hit series Peaky Blinders are being called to raise a glass in tribute to the iconic character Thomas Shelby as Netflix launches the highly anticipated new film. To mark the arrival of The Immortal Man, a special 'The Garrison' experience is touring the UK, allowing enthusiasts to visit local pubs and enjoy a drink on Tommy Shelby himself.

Nottingham's Angel Pub Hosts Exclusive Event

As part of a nationwide collaboration with ten independent pubs, Netflix has teamed up with The Angel in central Nottingham. The legendary venue will be transformed on Thursday, March 26, inviting attendees to don their best flat caps and claim a complimentary beverage from a selection of three options.

Participants aged 18 and over can secure a free drink simply by uttering the coded phrase: “By order of the Peaky Blinders.” If the phrase is correct, they will receive an old penny coin to redeem at the bar. Each participating pub will adopt a 1940s Peaky Blinders-inspired theme, featuring limited-edition merchandise and flat caps available for grabs.

Embracing British Pub Culture and Shelby Legacy

The local pub has long been a cornerstone of British culture and the world of Peaky Blinders. Now, Netflix is bringing a regional version of 'The Garrison' to life, offering fans a chance to gather and toast the Shelby family's enduring legacy. Guests are welcome, though not required, to dress in Peaky-style outfits for the occasion.

Landlord Benjamin Rose commented on the event, stating: "Since the 1700s, we have welcomed our fair share of outlaws and 'shady happenin’s,' so it feels only right that we’re now inviting our community to raise a glass to Tommy Shelby. We can't wait to see the 'proper pub' vibes in full swing for this iconic celebration of Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man."
