Love Island star Seán Fitzgerald's famous ex, Irish radio host Helen Galgey, has ignited speculation that she could be heading into the villa as a bombshell, with social media posts hinting at a missed flight to the show.

During a game of Never Have I Ever on Love Island, Seán revealed he has a famous ex. It soon emerged that the ex is RTÉ 2FM presenter Helen Galgey. She first linked herself to Seán in a video captioned: "Solidarity with all my sisters finding out their ex is on Love Island today." In a Q&A, she said she'll watch the show "like a hawk" but won't comment on it, adding: "I think Fitzy is so good... now I think he's actually playing it smart."
Bombshell Rumours Intensify
As Seán and his current partner Lola Deal face their first major hurdle, Helen has fuelled rumours of a bombshell appearance. Goss.ie reported that sources told them one of Seán's exes has been contacted to appear as a bombshell, but she hasn't confirmed yet. A source alleged: "Love Island producers are always looking to surprise Islanders with their exes... Now that Sean and Lola are closed off, ITV bosses are eager to get one of their former partners into the villa." They added: "Love Island producers have reached out to one of Sean's exes about the possibility of becoming a bombshell."
Helen's Cryptic Social Media Posts
While the report didn't name Helen, her Instagram stories have fuelled speculation. She posted about missing a flight due to passport rejection, saving the stories as a highlight called 'Airport reject' with Islander Lorenzo Alessi as the cover image. After sharing that she'd headed to the airport with a fresh haircut, new brows and an eyelash lift, she said: "Life came at me so fast today... no joy RE passport. Gutted but obviously wasn't meant to be." She then posted: "What's meant for you won't pass you by," followed by a video of Lorenzo, seemingly confirming she was meant to jet off to Love Island.
Potential Casa Amor Appearance
These events unfolded last weekend, leaving fans hopeful that Helen could appear as a late arrival bombshell, possibly during Casa Amor. However, ITV has not yet announced whether the Casa Amor villa will feature this series.
