Film crews were spotted outside a Birmingham pub just days after scenes for the new Peaky Blinders series were recorded in a nearby park. Crews, along with period cars, were seen outside the White Swan pub on Tuesday morning, April 28. A burgundy car was spotted with its bonnet up during the filming, off Bradford Street in Digbeth.
Filming Schedule and Details
The crews were filming near the pub between 7:30 am and 9:30 pm and were believed to return on Wednesday, April 29, between 7:30 am and 7:30 pm, according to a road closure sign. It was not confirmed what was being filmed in Digbeth, but it came after Birmingham served as the backdrop for a dramatic scene for the new Peaky Blinders series on Monday, April 27.

Scenes thought to be for the same show were also filmed at Himley Hall on Friday, April 24. Game of Thrones star Conleth Hill was spotted on set at Cannon Hill Park on Monday. The 61-year-old Northern Irish actor, known for playing Varys, was seen shooting scenes on a bridge in Cannon Hill Park as the gritty BBC gangster series prepares to return to TV screens.
New Series Details
Crews worked throughout the day on the upcoming post-war storyline set in the 1950s. It follows the success of the hit film The Immortal Man, but Cillian Murphy will not reprise his role as Tommy Shelby. Instead, a new generation of Peaky Blinders has been confirmed, including Billy Elliot star Jamie Bell as Tommy's eldest son Duke Shelby. The cast also includes Charlie Heaton from Stranger Things, as well as Jessica Brown Findlay, Lashana Lynch, and Lucy Karczewski.
