Film crews from the BBC's Silent Witness have descended on Oxford Road in Moseley, transforming the leafy suburb into a crime scene for the popular TV drama. The road was dressed up with police cars, and signs reading 'Families In Bad Girls Out' and 'Save Our Street' were placed in the front windows of large period homes.
Filming in Moseley
According to locals, the crews have been filming there for the past couple of days. Moseley resident Craig Pullen said he spotted activity outside two premises on Oxford Road the night before filming and initially assumed the house was up for auction. The following day, he noticed the road was coned off, equipment was being assembled, and security guards were present. When he asked the guards what they were securing, they jokingly replied 'the cones.' He pressed further and learned that a BBC series was filming.
Pullen also spoke to a local business owner who had spotted the lead female of Silent Witness that morning.
