This summer, Anglesey Abbey will celebrate two landmark anniversaries. The year 2026 marks both 100 years since Lord Fairhaven purchased the estate and 60 years since the property joined the National Trust.
Outdoor Exhibition Plans
As part of the celebrations, the team at Anglesey Abbey is planning an outdoor exhibition exploring six decades of National Trust visitors to the site. The exhibition will feature photographs from 1966 to the present day. To ensure the exhibition captures the full story, the team is asking for your help. Whether you have photos from memorable days out with loved ones or images that show how the house and gardens have changed over the years, they would love to see them.
The most interesting, fun, touching, and curious pictures will be selected and included in the exhibition, which will be on display in the gardens in June and July. If you have photographs of Anglesey Abbey to share, please visit www.surveymonkey.com/r/AA60years and fill in the secure form. You have until May 10 to make your submission, and the team will be in contact if your image is chosen for the exhibition.
