What to Expect

Confirmed highlights for 2026 include hard hat tours of Moseley Road Baths, building tours of the Birmingham School of Art and School of Jewellery, Council House tours, visits to St Mary’s Convent in Handsworth, and open days at New Hall Mill in Sutton Coldfield. Visitors can also enjoy heritage walks through Digbeth, the Jewellery Quarter, and beneath Spaghetti Junction, as well as tours of the Mailbox tunnels and Victoria Law Courts.

Irene De Boo, Birmingham Heritage Week Co-ordinator, said: "Birmingham Heritage Week continues to grow in popularity, attracting thousands of people each year who want to explore the city's fascinating stories, buildings and communities. What makes the festival special is the variety of experiences on offer, from hidden spaces and behind-the-scenes tours to neighbourhood walks and community events. We’re delighted to be bringing Birmingham Heritage Week back for 2026 and we're looking forward to welcoming both returning visitors and first-time explorers. The week-long browsing period before tickets go on sale will give people more time to discover the programme, plan their visits and make the most of everything the festival has to offer."
