Bollington Junction in the 1960s
A black-and-white photo from the 1960s captures the junction of Palmerston Street, Bollington, Shrigley Road, Ingersley Road, and Church Street. The Turner’s Arms pub is visible on the left. Stone cottages and shops on the far corner were later demolished and replaced by Shrigley Court flats.
Whaley Bridge Around 1910
