MAFS Australia's Stella Mickunaite Breaks Silence on False Pregnancy Speculation

Married at First Sight Australia 2026 participants Filip Gregov and Stella Mickunaite, widely regarded as one of the strongest and most genuine couples from the current season, have officially addressed persistent rumours suggesting Stella is pregnant. The speculation originated from photos shared on TikTok by a Sydney-based restaurant, which appeared to show Stella with a noticeable baby bump.

Edited Photos Fuel Unfounded Pregnancy Claims

The viral images, which circulated widely on social media platforms, were later revealed to have been digitally altered to create the illusion of pregnancy. Fellow MAFS contestant Joel Moses provided insight into the situation, confirming to media outlet Chattr that the original photo was taken during filming and would have shown a significantly different appearance if genuine.

"That photo was taken during filming and she would have a huge bump right now," Moses stated, questioning the authenticity of the edited image. Chattr further investigated the photo using an AI detection tool, which determined it was 54% likely to be fake. Moses humorously added, "More like 100% fake, AI needs some maintenance."

Stella Laughs Off Rumours and Engagement Speculation

In an exclusive interview with Pedestrian TV, Stella Mickunaite directly addressed both the pregnancy rumours and additional speculation about a potential engagement outside the experiment. "I’m pregnant, apparently! It’s rumours. It’s all fluff, it’s all noise, and we just keep on focusing on each other," she said, dismissing the claims with laughter and emphasising her commitment to the relationship with Filip.

Stella also expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from fans, noting how it positively impacts their journey. "It definitely gives us that extra pep in our step. Like any couple, we’re still working through things. But I think actually having that support, it helps us to unite and connect and actually [realise] we have so many beautiful things going on for us. So it’s great support, to be honest," she shared.
