Bandemonium Festival Returns to Bury Town Centre in June

An extraordinary celebration of live music is set to fill the streets with vibrant sounds and energy once again this summer. The highly anticipated Bandemonium festival is returning to Bury town centre, providing a wide range of talented musicians with a fantastic opportunity to showcase their skills to shoppers.

Event Details

This year's exciting event will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, bringing a variety of free performances to multiple central locations. Music lovers can enjoy the popular Bloco Ashe Samba Band performing lively rhythms in Kay Gardens between 11am and 1pm. Over at Market Place, next to the Peel monument, the historic Royal Regiment of Fusiliers Band will also perform from 11am until 1pm.

Youth and Marching Bands

Talented young musicians from the Bury Music Service will kick off the day's entertainment at 9.30am, with various youth ensembles playing in Racconto Square until 12.30pm. They will be followed by a wonderful, moving display by the Phoenix Parade Band, who will march and play through the streets until about 2.30pm.

Local Acts at St John's Square

St John's Square at The Rock will serve as a bustling venue for two fantastic local musical acts. The Crumpsall Concert Band will take the stage from 11am until 1pm, followed immediately by the Tottington Public Band, who will play until 3pm.
