Documentary Details

Produced by an Argentine production company that previously made a film about former winger Angel Di Maria, the documentary will trace Martinez's journey from his early days as a young player to his current stardom. It covers his time at Arsenal, loan spells at clubs like Rotherham United and Sheffield Wednesday, and culminates in his heroic performance in the World Cup final.

Exclusive Interviews and Animation

The film combines archive footage with interviews featuring Barcelona legend Lionel Messi, Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni, and Miguel Ángel “Pepé” Santoro. An animated segment inspired by Hernan Casciari's short story 'The Kid Who Stops Time' will also be included, telling the tale of a boy who can argue with footballs and stop time.
