Birmingham Bullring Jeweller Lovisa Reopens After Six Months, Marks 100th UK Store
Lovisa Reopens in Bullring, Marks 100th UK Store

Lovisa, the jewellery brand, has made its return to Birmingham's Bullring shopping centre after being closed for six months. The store officially reopened on Saturday, June 13, marking a significant milestone as its 100th location in the United Kingdom.

Return After Delay

When Lovisa closed half a year ago, the brand assured Bullring shoppers that it would be back in a new spot soon. Hoarding went up at its new location on the lower ground floor, where Claire's Accessories previously operated before its move and subsequent closure. However, the grand return was delayed until this weekend, when the signs were finally lifted.

Celebrating 100 Stores

Lovisa took to social media to celebrate the opening, posting photos online and thanking customers. The brand stated: "This weekend, we opened our 100th store in the UK at Bullring, Birmingham! A huge milestone for Lovisa and one we couldn't have reached without our amazing community, team and everyone who's been part of the journey along the way. Thank you for celebrating with us and we can't wait to see you there."

Bullring Developments

The reopening comes amid exciting changes in the shopping centre. Last week, the latest map of the Bullring, shared by owners Hammerson, revealed that four empty units are being merged to create two larger stores. Kate Spade and the former Dr Martens shop on the upper level near Selfridges will become one merged shop. Meanwhile, the unit occupied by Breitling, which closes this week, will be knocked through to the adjoining space to create a second large store. Dr Martens remains in the Bullring, having moved to a unit opposite earlier this year.

In other Bullring news, New Balance is preparing to open its standalone store not far from the new Lululemon. Further updates on new openings are expected soon.
