Merry Hill Food Stall Napoli Transforms into Slice House Pizza Joint
Napoli Becomes Slice House at Merry Hill Next Month

A popular food stall at Merry Hill is reopening next month after a significant transformation. Napoli, an Italian eatery located in the Eat Central food court on the upper mall, is being converted into Slice House, an artisan pizza joint run by the same team.

From Napoli to Slice House

John Morgan, co-founder of Slice House, has been documenting the renovation journey on TikTok. He revealed that the team spent six years perfecting the pizzas, upgrading speed, and elevating the branding. The new Slice House will offer similar pizzas to Napoli, which was known for its pizza, pasta, garlic bread, and numerous toppings.

Hoarding now surrounds the former Napoli unit, and videos show workers busy with renovations. In a TikTok video, John said: "I'm about to open up a new pizza unit in Merry Hill and over the next month, we're going to transform the whole product, look and brand." He added that signs and menu boards are being replaced, and a new self-serve feature will be installed.

Same Team, Same Quality

John reassured fans that the closure of Napoli is not the end but an upgrade to Slice House. "We're just upgrading it to the Slice House. Same team, same style of pizzas, same price point, same owners and yes - the Slice Special that everyone loves," he stated.

The Slice House TikTok page indicates the stall aims to open in mid-May 2026, though Merry Hill has not confirmed a specific date. John emphasized: "We're not starting again, we're just taking it to the next level."

Current Status

Merry Hill's website lists Napoli as temporarily closed for the glow-up, with May 2026 as the reopening date. The description reads: "The place to go for traditional homemade pizza and pasta. Expect freshly-prepared pasta and bolognaise sauces and must-have pizzas with all the classic toppings." Merry Hill has been contacted for comment.
