Council Encourages Community Participation

Councillor Anne Gray, Lead Member for Open Spaces at Charnwood Borough Council, expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming season. "With every passing year, the bandstand concerts in the beautiful Queen's Park are incredibly popular, and the line-up for 2026 looks great," she said. "The bands receive a warm welcome from those who attend, and there's always a good crowd. These performances are a superb opportunity to visit and enjoy our beautiful park."

She added, "There is limited seating around the bandstand, so please feel free to bring along a picnic chair and blanket. Fingers crossed for sunny skies to accompany the music."
