The Script Announce New Album and World Tour

Irish rock band The Script have announced details of their highly anticipated eighth studio album and a world tour that will bring them to Birmingham.

New Album 'Satellites'

The band will release their new album, titled 'Satellites', on August 16, 2025. The album marks a new chapter for the band following the tragic passing of guitarist Mark Sheehan in 2023. Frontman Danny O'Donoghue has described the album as a tribute to their late bandmate and a celebration of their journey together.

World Tour Dates

To support the album, The Script will embark on a world tour starting in September 2025. The tour will include a stop at Birmingham's Utilita Arena on November 14, 2025. Fans can expect to hear new material alongside classic hits like 'Hall of Fame', 'Breakeven', and 'The Man Who Can't Be Moved'.

Tickets for the Birmingham show go on sale on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 9am. Fans are advised to purchase early as the band's previous tours have sold out quickly. Pre-sale options may be available for fan club members.

The Script have been a staple of the music scene since their debut in 2008, known for their anthemic rock sound and heartfelt lyrics. The new album is expected to continue that tradition, with O'Donoghue promising a mix of upbeat tracks and emotional ballads.
