Zayn Malik has issued a fresh health update and announced the cancellation of several upcoming tour dates, including a performance in Birmingham. Just weeks after the Pillow Talk singer shared a picture of himself in hospital, he has pulled the plug on a number of shows.
Health Update and Recovery
The former One Direction star, who thanked the 'incredible' hospital staff—including doctors, nurses, and cardiologists—for their care, said he is now 'recovering' at home and vowed to return 'better and stronger than before'. In an Instagram post, he expressed gratitude: 'Thank you so much for all the support and love you've shown me on the album release and more importantly your love, prayers, and well wishes for my health. I've felt it, and it's meant the world. I've been at home recovering and I'm doing well and will be better and stronger than before.'
Tour Schedule Changes
Malik, 33, shared a link to an updated schedule for his KONNAKOL Tour, which now includes performances in London and Manchester next month, as well as shows in Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, and Peru later this year. However, 11 tour dates have been cancelled, including his entire US tour and concerts in Glasgow, Dublin, and Birmingham.
Refund Information
Fans have been informed that refunds will be issued automatically for tickets purchased through Ticketmaster. A message on his website advises: 'If you purchased from a third-party reseller (StubHub, SeatGeek, Vivid Seats, etc) please reach out to your point of purchase.'
