Woman's £40 Mystery Bags at Wolverhampton Pop-Up Leave Her in Hysterics

Shoppers in Wolverhampton are in for a unique retail experience as the King Colis mystery parcel pop-up prepares to take over the Mander Shopping Centre. The French company, which offers lost and unclaimed packages for sale, has already caused a stir in Manchester, where one woman's unexpected finds left her in stitches.

Sophie Daly's Mystery Haul

Sophie Daly, a 31-year-old influencer from Manchester, documented her experience on TikTok after purchasing five mystery parcels from the pop-up at the Arndale Centre. She estimated spending around £40 on the bags, which were priced at £2.50 per 100 grams. Her video quickly went viral, showcasing a series of bizarre and underwhelming items.

Among the contents were a children's fairy dress-up costume, complete with a dress, wand, tiara, and necklace. Sophie joked, "It's not going to fit me, is it? To be fair, it's actually very me coded. Good job I'm a child at heart, ain't it?" The next package revealed a three-pack of floral bibs, followed by a box of haemorrhoid creams, leaving her speechless: "No, I'm actually dead. It's haemorrhoid cream, what? There's loads of haemorrhoid cream. I can't."

Further parcels included a "wet" package containing men's hair replacement treatment and a pair of cycling gloves. Sophie admitted, "Not been lucky with this at all." Despite the disappointing finds, she found the experience increasingly amusing. "I was hoping for a diamond ring. I was genuinely so excited, I just thought it was such a cool experience. At first, I was pretty annoyed with what I had ended up with but then the more parcels I kept opening, it just got funnier and funnier to me. In the end, it was quite hilarious. It's not things I wanted or needed, but it's not that deep," she told the Manchester Evening News.
