New Party & Play Soft Play Centre Announces Opening Date in Erdington
Birmingham families are eagerly anticipating the arrival of a new soft play centre, with Party & Play set to open its doors at Swannies Centre in Erdington. The facility, spanning an impressive 700 square metres, promises to deliver a vibrant indoor play experience for children up to 10 years old.
Exciting Features and Delayed Launch
Originally scheduled for a March 2026 opening, the centre has experienced a slight delay. A spokesperson for Party & Play confirmed that the current estimated opening date is now April 3, 2026, though this remains subject to final setup adjustments. "We’re so excited to share our estimated opening date," the spokesperson said. "Please note this is not a final confirmed date just yet, as there are still a few moving parts during the final setup stage. But we are working hard to open on time."
The play area is designed over a double-level frame and includes:
- A bumper slide
- A three-slide race feature
- Interactive tunnels
- A curving snake slide
- A basketball hoop
Additionally, a dedicated role play zone will feature a police station, repair shop, and play garden, encouraging imaginative play among young visitors.
