McDonald's is making a major menu change from tomorrow, April 28, introducing two new burgers and bringing back a fan-favourite McFlurry. The fast food giant, which operates 1,560 restaurants across the UK including several in Birmingham, will roll out the new items on Tuesday.
New Permanent Burgers
The first new item is the Spicy McCrispy, made with 100% chicken breast, topped with iceberg lettuce and a new creamy spicy mayo, served in a bun. The second is the Cheese & Bacon McCrispy, featuring chicken breast, iceberg lettuce, black pepper mayo, cheese, and bacon. Both burgers will remain on the menu permanently.
Returning McFlurries
Joining the new burgers is the return of the Biscoff McFlurry, a fan-favourite ice cream dessert. McDonald's describes it as "Biscoff biscuit crumb swirled onto the soft serve giving it that extra crunchy taste." Additionally, the Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry is also making a comeback, much to the delight of fans.
Secret Menu Hack
McDonald's enthusiasts are also flocking to test an ingenious "secret menu" trick that could secure them additional food while spending less. The advice, posted by a money-saving specialist on social media, demonstrates how to obtain an extra Chicken Select while saving 51p. Instead of purchasing the standard three-piece Chicken Selects, typically costing around £5.49, clever customers order two "Wrap of the Day" items at £2.49 each and modify them. By removing everything except the chicken—including the wrap, lettuce, and sauces—diners are left with only the chicken pieces. Since each wrap contains two pieces of the identical chicken used in Selects, the trick provides four pieces of chicken for £4.98.
