Joan's Life and Legacy
Born and raised in Sale, Joan attended Springfield School before embarking on a career as a secretary at Ardan and Bull Motor Company. Highly skilled in shorthand, she was admired for her professionalism and dedication throughout her working years. Family has always been central to Joan's life; she is a proud mother of two children, with her family expanding to include two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Reaching her 100th birthday surrounded by multiple generations of her family made the day especially meaningful. Reflecting on the celebration, Joan said: "It was lovely to spend time with my family and friends. It was one of my best birthdays yet."
