Rod Stewart has become a grandfather for the sixth time after his daughter Ruby gave birth to her second child, a baby boy named Levi Rhodes Kalick. Ruby, 39, announced the arrival on Instagram, sharing the news with her followers and revealing that she and fiancé Jake Kalick had chosen the name Levi for their new son.

Levi was born at 6:58 pm on August 4, weighing 9lb and measuring 20 inches. Ruby shared a series of photographs introducing her newborn to the world, and in an emotional announcement, she explained the sentimental meaning behind the name. "His name Levi means My Heart," she wrote, adding that his arrival had made the family's hearts "10 times the size".
For Rod, now 81, this marks another chapter in his role as a grandfather, a role he has often spoken about with great enthusiasm. When his daughter Kimberly Stewart gave birth to his first grandchild, Delilah, in 2011, Rod was overjoyed. "I'm a grandfather now," he told USA Today at the time. "I've been going around blabbing that for hours now." He also described the experience as bringing him indescribable joy, telling E! News: "My joy is indescribable."

More than a decade later, Rod has embraced grandparenthood wholeheartedly, showing particular fondness for Ruby's first son, Otis.
