Reality television favourite Amy Childs has shared the terrifying details of her baby daughter's recent medical emergency that saw the family make a frantic dash to hospital.
The former TOWIE star, who welcomed her fourth child just months ago, described the heart-stopping moment she noticed her infant struggling to breathe properly. "It was every parent's worst nightmare," the emotional mother revealed.
The Panic-Stricken Journey
Childs recounted the frightening episode that unfolded at her family home. "Her breathing became really laboured and rapid," she explained. "As a mother of four, I know what's normal and what's not - and this definitely wasn't normal."
The 33-year-old television personality didn't hesitate, immediately bundling her daughter into the car and racing to seek medical attention. "Your mind goes to the worst possible places in those moments," she admitted.
Medical Professionals Spring Into Action
Upon arrival at the hospital, medical staff moved quickly to assess the situation. "The doctors and nurses were absolutely incredible," Childs praised. "They took one look at her and knew exactly what to do."
While the specific condition hasn't been disclosed, the reality star confirmed that her daughter received prompt treatment and is now safely recovering at home. "We're just so grateful to have her home and healthy," she shared emotionally.
A Mother's Warning To Other Parents
The frightening experience has left Childs with an important message for other parents. "Always trust your instincts," she urged. "If something doesn't feel right with your child, don't wait - seek medical help immediately."
She continued: "As parents, we sometimes doubt ourselves, but that gut feeling is there for a reason. I'm just thankful I acted when I did."
The celebrity mum, who also shares three other children, says the scare has given her a renewed appreciation for the NHS and medical professionals. "We're so lucky to have such amazing healthcare in this country," she added.
