A woman has suffered potentially serious injuries following an incident at a college in Staffordshire, West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) has confirmed.
Paramedics were dispatched after a woman fell at Newcastle College, located on Knutton Lane. Emergency crews arrived at the scene shortly after 5pm on Tuesday, May 12.
The woman received treatment at the site for injuries described as 'potentially serious' before being transported to Royal Stoke University Hospital for further care, according to StokeonTrentLive.
A spokesperson for WMAS stated: 'We were called to reports of a patient who had fallen on Knutton Lane. One ambulance attended the scene. On arrival we discovered one patient, a woman, who was treated for potentially serious injuries before being taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital for further assessment.'
