West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed that a girl was taken to hospital following a concern for welfare report at a playing field in Bilbrook, near Wolverhampton.
Emergency response at Twentyman Playing Fields
Ambulance crews were called to Twentyman Playing Fields on Joeys Lane in Bilbrook at approximately 6:46pm on Saturday, August 15. Staffordshire Police also attended the scene alongside the ambulance service.
Medics assessed the girl at the location before she was taken to hospital for further checks. The exact nature of the concern for welfare has not been disclosed.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told BlackCountryLive: "We received a call to Twentyman Playing Fields, Joeys Lane, Bilbrook at 6.46pm on Saturday, August 15 to a concern for welfare case. One ambulance attended and a girl was assessed and conveyed to hospital for further checks."
A photograph taken at the scene shows an ambulance parked near the playing field on Joeys Lane. A witness reported seeing a police car parked nearby at the time of the incident.
