Customer Complaints
One customer wrote: “Also any card transaction, contactless, Apple Pay, etc. not working and no point going in branch as all their systems down too.”
Another added: “No transactions working, card, Apple Pay, contactless all down.”
A third stated: “Went into branch and they’re down too. No signs of how long it might be. I am at a business who needs to make payments to do with sale and purchase of properties, at the moment [they] have people who are sat waiting to move with removal vans and can’t until payments are completed, it’s rough.”
Impact on Services
The outages have affected not only mobile banking but also card transactions, contactless payments, and branch operations. Customers are advised to check for updates from the banks and use alternative banking methods if possible.
