A woman was discovered in a critical condition near Sutton Park on Tuesday evening, leading to a swift response from emergency services.
Incident Details
At approximately 6:25 PM on 5 May, emergency crews were dispatched to Whitehouse Common Road in Sutton Coldfield following reports of a medical emergency. West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed that two ambulances and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance were deployed to the scene.
Upon arrival, paramedics found bystanders performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on a woman who was in a critical condition. The medical team immediately took over resuscitation efforts and administered advanced life support.
Hospital Transfer
The woman was subsequently transported to hospital under blue lights and sirens for further emergency care. A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service stated: "The team of medics quickly took over resuscitation efforts and administered advanced life support before she was conveyed on blue lights and sirens to hospital for further emergency care."
