A 29-year-old Birmingham man has been arrested following the seizure of approximately one kilogram of cocaine worth an estimated £100,000, along with £25,000 in cash and other items linked to drug supply.
Details of the Raid
Officers from Staffordshire Police executed a search warrant at a Birmingham address on Monday, July 20. During the search, they discovered around one kilo of cocaine, approximately £25,000 in cash, three mobile phones, SIM cards, and £720 in suspected counterfeit £20 notes.
Additionally, police found bank cards, a fake passport, and a fraudulent driving licence, all believed to be connected to the supply of drugs.
Arrest and Charges
The suspect, a 29-year-old man from the Birmingham area, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class A controlled drug (cocaine). He was further arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of cocaine and crack cocaine, possession of counterfeit currency, fraud by false representation, and two counts of possessing an article for use in fraud.
He remains in police custody as investigations continue.
