Aitch & Shona's I'm A Celeb Romance: Manager & Sister Speak Out
Aitch & Shona I'm A Celeb Romance: Family Respond

Speculation is running wild that a romantic connection is blossoming between rapper Aitch and former EastEnders actress Shona McGarty on this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!

The rumour mill went into overdrive after Aitch confirmed he is currently single and confessed to campmate Angry Ginge that he had a "soft spot" for Shona. Since that revelation, viewers have been scrutinising their every move, with a playful but intimate pillow fight that ended with Shona pinned between Aitch's thighs fuelling the fire.

Family Weighs In On Jungle Romance

The buzz has become so intense that the show's hosts, Ant and Dec, are openly championing the potential couple. Now, the people who know them best have broken their silence.

Shona McGarty's sister, Camilla, was approached for comment at Brisbane airport. While she expressed some uncertainty about the nature of their bond, she gave her full support. "He is a nice guy...I would definitely have him around for Christmas," Camilla stated, though she admitted she wasn't sure if she saw the relationship "romantically."

Management's Brother-Sister Verdict

Echoing a similar sentiment, Aitch's manager, Via Culpan, was also questioned by press upon her arrival. She offered a different perspective on their close friendship in the camp. "I mean I personally think it's more of a brother-sister relationship but it's one of them," Via revealed.

When pressed further on whether the two celebrities would actually make a good couple, the manager remained diplomatically neutral, adding, "They're both nice people so I'm sure yeah, I don't know, no idea."

Ant and Dec Fuel the Fire

The speculation has not been lost on the show's iconic hosts. During a livestream, Ant directly addressed the viewer questions flooding in about the pair. "What can we say about that? You saw the VT when they went to Doomsville, you saw Aitch wrestle her in his legs, you saw that... we didn't edit that," he said, pointing to the unaired footage as evidence.

Clearly invested in the potential storyline, Ant didn't hide his hopes for a televised romance, excitedly exclaiming, "I'd like them to to kiss so badly on the show!"

The public is equally captivated, with social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) filling up with posts from fans who are convinced they are watching a real-life love story unfold in the Australian jungle.
