Hyndburn Borough Council has registered a series of planning applications between Monday, June 29 and Sunday, July 5, covering demolition, household extensions, change of use, and discharge of conditions.
Prior Notification and Household Extensions
A prior notification application was submitted for the demolition and clearance of the hospital complex at Accrington Victoria Hospital, Haywood Road, Accrington. Household applications include a hip to gable extension with rear dormer and side and rear extensions at 112 Harwood Road, Rishton, and a single storey side and rear extension at 15 Grafton Avenue, Baxenden, Accrington.
Change of Use to HMO
A full application proposes the change of use from a dwelling house into a 5-bedroom House in Multiple Occupation (HMO) with a rear single storey extension at 44 Higher Antley Street, Accrington.
Discharge of Conditions
Multiple discharge of condition applications were lodged for land at Charter Street, Accrington: Condition 29 (Lighting Report), Condition 6 (Biodiversity Net Gain), and Condition 8 (Habitat Plan), all pursuant to planning permission reference 11/25/0025. At 18 King Street, Accrington, a discharge of Condition 2 (Noise Impact Assessment) was sought under prior approval application 11/25/0453. Conditions 13 (Landscaping Scheme) and 18 (Car Park Management Plan) were applied for discharge at Raza Jamia Masjid Trust Mosque, 39 Lower Antley Street, Accrington, under permission 11/23/0318.
Retaining Wall and Industrial Site
A householder application was made for the excavation of a rear yard and erection of a retaining wall (partly retrospective) at 8 Littlewalk Court, Church. An outline application proposes the change of use of land from a 2-pitch caravan site to a light industrial site with access taken through the existing improved access off Parsonage Street, with all matters reserved except access and layout, at Caravan Site West of Parsonage Street, Church.
