Planning applications registered with Rossendale Borough Council up to the week ending Friday, June 12 have been announced, covering a range of developments from housing to tree works and change of use.

Discharge of conditions at Futures Park

A proposal seeks to discharge conditions 7 (HMMP), 10 (CEMP), 13 (Contaminated Land), 17 (Sustainable drainage) and 19 (Final Surface Water Drainage) pursuant to planning approval 2025/0378 at The Business Centre, Futures Park, Bacup.

Permission in principle for housing

Permission in principle is sought for between one and nine dwellings at 9 Higher Booths Lane, Crawshawbooth, Rossendale.

Regularisation is sought for the change of use of two residential bungalows (Use Class C3 dwelling house) to use for two short-term lets (Sui Generis) at 4 & 6 Mulberry Green, Ashworth Road, Edgeside, Rossendale.

A discharge of Condition 3 (Materials) pursuant to planning approval 2025/0282 is proposed at Rawtenstall Market Hall, Newchurch Road, Rawtenstall, Rossendale.

Erection of dwellings at Loveclough

An application seeks the erection of up to three dwellings at Land to the North of The Old Glory, Burnley Road, Loveclough, Rossendale.

Reroofing at Bacup

Proposed reroofing of an existing terraced property at 3 Weir Lane, Weir, Bacup.
