A 41-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a man's body at a stone circle in the Peak District. Derbyshire Constabulary confirmed the arrest on June 24, two days after the victim, aged 26, was found dead at Nine Ladies Stone Circle in Stanton Lees.

The suspect remains in police custody. The victim has not yet been formally identified, but his family has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers. The death occurred after people gathered at the national park to celebrate the summer solstice over the weekend.
Police appeal for information
Detectives are urging anyone who was at the site over the weekend, or who has video footage from the summer solstice event, to come forward.
