The Foreign Office now advises against all travel to Iran, Israel, and Palestine. For the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain, the guidance is to avoid all but essential travel. Additionally, there are specific instructions to steer clear of certain regions within Pakistan due to security concerns.
British nationals in Saudi Arabia have been instructed to remain at home as a precautionary measure. Those in Jordan, Oman, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq are urged to exercise extreme caution and take necessary safety precautions in light of the heightened regional tensions and ongoing military activities.

The advisory revisions follow a series of loud explosions reported across major Gulf cities, including Dubai, Doha, and Manama, as well as in Jerusalem on Monday. Israel's military leadership has indicated that the conflict with Hezbollah, which intensified early Monday, may persist for an extended period. "We have launched an offensive campaign against Hezbollah," stated Eyal Zamir in a military-released video cited by AFP. "We must be prepared for several days of fighting – many." This declaration came hours after rocket fire attributed to the Lebanese militant group triggered a wave of Israeli strikes on Lebanon.
