Who Was Robert Sullivan?

Robert Sullivan was Bonnie Tyler's loyal husband and a former Olympic athlete. He competed for Great Britain in judo at the 1972 Munich Olympics. Before his Olympic career, he worked as a club manager. Together with Tyler, he built a substantial property empire, reportedly owning 22 homes across Berkshire and London, a farm in New Zealand, and a home in Portugal. He was also the cousin of Catherine Zeta-Jones's father.

Marriage and Relationship

Tyler and Sullivan married in 1973 and were together for 53 years. They first met in 1970 when Sullivan was working in clubs and Tyler was singing locally. Tyler often credited their meeting before her fame as a key to their successful relationship.
