International Breaks
International breaks will see a change this season. Instead of the usual three breaks in the first half of the season, there will only be two. The second international break will take place on the weekend of November 14-15.

Cup Competitions
Aston Villa will begin their Carabao Cup campaign in the third round this season, as they are participating in the Champions League. The schedule for the competition is yet to be confirmed. The FA Cup starts on Saturday, August 8 with an extra preliminary round, but Villa will join in the third-round stage, scheduled for the weekend of Saturday, January 9, 2027. The FA Cup final is set for Saturday, May 22, 2027, a week before the Premier League season ends. The Champions League final will be the final game of the season, taking place on Saturday, June 5, 2027.
