Popular West Midlands Attraction Reopens Following Major Refurbishment
A well-known Birmingham activity venue has officially relaunched this month, bringing new attractions and renewed investment to the city's growing family leisure offering. AirHop Birmingham, formerly known as Rush, has reopened following a major transformation that has introduced a refreshed brand, upgraded facilities, and a wider range of activities for families across the West Midlands.
Completely Transformed Experience
The revamped park combines classic trampolining with modern, interactive attractions that have completely changed the visitor experience. New and upgraded experiences include AR Trampolines and ValoArena mixed-reality games, Soccer 360 football zones, high-energy obstacle courses, and popular group favourites such as dodgeball and the Battle Beam.
These sit alongside the Main Court, which features freestyle trampolines, slam-dunk lanes, and accessible jump areas specifically designed for a wide range of ages and abilities. The improved layouts and viewing areas have been designed to better accommodate families spending longer visits together, creating a more comfortable environment for extended stays.
Enhanced Family-Friendly Facilities
The on-site AirHop Café offers food and drinks with a clear view of the activity areas, allowing parents and carers to relax while staying close to the action. This thoughtful design element ensures that families can enjoy their time together while maintaining supervision of younger participants.
Anthony Smith, general manager at AirHop Birmingham, commented on the transformation: "We've been part of the Birmingham community for a long time, and that's exactly why this relaunch matters. Many local families think they already know this park — but it's changed completely. We've invested in new attractions, upgraded the whole space and created something that adds real value to Birmingham's family activity scene. Whether you're visiting for the first time or coming back after years away, it's a very different experience."
Longstanding Community Presence
The venue, based on Lifford Lane in Kings Norton, has been part of the local area for more than nine years, welcoming generations of families, schools, and groups. This refurbishment represents a significant investment in maintaining and enhancing a facility that has become an established part of Birmingham's leisure landscape.
The transformation has created a more modern, interactive environment that appeals to a broad demographic, from young children to teenagers and adults. The combination of physical activities with technological enhancements represents a forward-thinking approach to family entertainment that aligns with contemporary leisure trends.
