Martin Kemp Set for I'm A Celeb Exit as Betting Odds Slash
Martin Kemp Expected to Leave I'm A Celebrity

Martin Kemp is tipped to be the next celebrity eliminated from the ITV reality series I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! according to the latest betting odds.

Betting Markets Predict Jungle Exit

Bookmakers have installed the Spandau Ballet star and former EastEnders actor as the clear favourite to be the sixth contestant to leave the camp. Kemp currently has short odds of 1/2 to be the next evictee. The prediction follows the departure of comedian Ruby Wax during Wednesday night's episode (December 3), a result that has left some viewers baffled.

Following Wax's exit, Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley is second in the betting at 7/4, with former EastEnders star Shona McGarty third at 8/1.

Fan Backlash Over Ruby Wax Eviction

The news comes amid a backlash from fans who believe Ruby Wax was unfairly voted out over Martin Kemp. Many have taken to social media to express their surprise, noting that Kemp has had relatively little screen time during the series.

One disgruntled viewer posted online, questioning: "How has Martin stayed in longer than Ruby? She was brilliant." Another added: "How has Ruby left before Martin??? I literally forget he's on there sometimes, he does nothing, she should have been top 3."

Favourites Emerge Amid Camp Drama

Meanwhile, the race to be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle is hotting up. Rapper Aitch is the current favourite to win the series with odds of 11/10. His fellow Mancunian, content creator Angry Ginge, is in second place at 5/2.

The pair have proven popular with audiences, despite recently finding themselves at the centre of camp controversy. Alongside fellow contestant Kelly Brook, they won milk bottle sweets in a challenge but ate half the treats before returning to camp and lied to the other celebrities about their haul.

In other news, Ruby Wax has spoken of her devastation at being voted off. During an appearance on This Morning, she said: "I've been ripped from my family, ripped from the womb. I'm so upset, I can't even tell you. I belong in that jungle. I want to go to my people."

She saved her strongest criticism for the jungle fare, stating: "The rice and the beans were like eating styrofoam. It was just no taste. The dirt was better than the beans and the rice." She also lamented the Bush Tucker Trials, saying: "Who eats eel with the teeth and teeth still in it, or a crocodile with the claws? So you'd have to clip the... it was like eating my grandmother."
