Liverpool and Wirral Swimmers Dominate
Niko Dorsz from the City of Liverpool squad was in phenomenal form, securing four gold medals, each one achieved in a new personal best time. The club's success continued with George Pearce, who struck gold three times in the 50m, 100m, and 200m Breaststroke events, also setting three new personal bests.
Thomas Rickels matched this triple-gold achievement, which included a personal best in the 800m Freestyle. Gabriella Hunt also stood out with a trio of gold medals to her name.
A Host of Medal-Winning Performances
Albion Dobrushi demonstrated incredible consistency, recording five personal bests on his way to winning two golds, a silver, and a bronze medal. Ethan Dwyer had a productive weekend, returning home with a gold, a silver, and five bronze medals.
Kate Roberts was another busy athlete, earning two golds, three silvers, and a bronze, alongside several personal bests. The Wirral Metro team was well represented by Harper Aspinall, who led their charge with three golds, a silver, and two bronze medals.
Abbie Roscoe added three golds to her collection, one of which featured a personal best in the 100m Butterfly. Lauren Berry claimed gold in the 800m Freestyle, while Ben Stephenson won the 200m Butterfly in a personal best time.
Notable Achievements from Other Clubs
Halton's Jacob Agate took gold in the 100m Individual Medley, one of his four personal bests at the meet. From Prescot, Ella Hewett used three personal bests to secure a gold and two silvers.
Other medal winners included Sophie Dowding, Dominic Workman, James Graham, Macy Barker, Nalika Mortimer, Kerry Hennie, Christopher Lambert, Elizabeth Lyons, Oscar Donnelly, and Poppy Read, all contributing to a highly competitive and successful event.
