British holidaymakers in the Midlands have received a welcome boost as easyJet reveals plans to launch two exciting new summer routes from Birmingham Airport next year.
New Destinations for Summer 2026
The low-cost carrier will introduce services to both Inverness in the Scottish Highlands and Nice on the French Riviera, significantly expanding its network from the West Midlands hub. This expansion forms part of the airline's 30th-anniversary celebrations and demonstrates its continued commitment to the UK market.
The new Birmingham to Inverness route will commence on 30 March 2026, perfectly timed for the Easter holiday period. Flights will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays, ideal for travellers seeking either a long weekend escape or a full week exploring Scotland's stunning landscapes.
Enhanced European Connectivity
For those dreaming of Mediterranean sunshine, the additional route to Nice, France will launch on 1 May 2026. This service will also run twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays, providing convenient access to the glamorous Côte d'Azur for both leisure and business travellers.
Complementing these new routes, easyJet holidays has simultaneously launched package deals to Nice that bundle flights with hotel accommodation, offering customers a seamless booking experience for their French Riviera getaway.
Expanding Travel Options from the Midlands

The airline has confirmed it will also operate flights to Paphos and Lisbon during the summer 2026 season, with tickets and holiday packages for all routes now available for booking.
