British Transport Police have released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to after an incident on a West Midlands Metro tram where a man allegedly masturbated while staring at two women. The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, May 16, on a tram heading towards Dartmouth Street in West Bromwich.

The two women were travelling between 12:30am and 1am when a man sat next to them and began to masturbate while staring at them. The women alerted the conductor, who ejected the man from the tram. Police have now released CCTV images of a man they believe may have information that could help their investigation.

Police Appeal for Information

In an appeal, British Transport Police said: "Do you recognise this man? Officers investigating an incident whereby a man masturbated on board a tram have released these images." The force urged anyone who recognises the man to come forward.

Detectives are keen to speak to the individual in the images to assist with their inquiries. The incident has raised concerns about safety on public transport, particularly for women travelling alone at night.
