Pro Global Expands Liverpool Operations with Move to Royal Liver Building
Insurance Firm Pro Global Moves to Royal Liver Building

In a significant move underscoring its commitment to the North West, insurance services specialist Pro Global has announced a major expansion of its Liverpool operations. The company is relocating its city team to the world-renowned Royal Liver Building on the city's iconic waterfront.

A Strategic Move for Growth

The London-based firm, founded in 1993, is taking approximately 5,000 square feet of space within the Grade I-listed landmark. This decision follows a period of strong growth for Pro Global in Liverpool, driven by increasing demand for its specialist support services. The company aids insurance firms with operational, audit, claims, and digital transformation needs, and recently launched Pro Legal Solutions to manage complex insurance litigation.

Steve Lewis, CEO of Pro Global, stated that Liverpool has become an increasingly vital component of the company's UK activities. He highlighted the city's access to high-calibre talent and a robust professional services market as key factors. "Securing space in the Royal Liver Building reflects both our confidence in the city and our long-term growth plans," Lewis said. "This move gives us the capacity to continue expanding our teams and delivering the specialist support our clients need."

An Iconic Address for a Growing Business

The relocation to the Royal Liver Building, which was purchased by Liverpool's Princes Group in July 2025 for £60 million, places Pro Global among a prestigious list of tenants. These include technology giant Kyndryl, accountancy group Grant Thornton, and Everton Football Club. Fergus Maclennan of Adapt Commercial Property, who acted for Pro Global, noted that the quality and profile of the building make it an ideal fit for a business scaling rapidly in the region.

The expansion has already seen Pro Global increase its staffing in Liverpool over the past year, and the new, larger office is expected to facilitate further recruitment. The company confirmed the move will support continued growth across its core service areas:

  • Consultancy
  • Claims management
  • Audit services
  • Legal services via Pro Legal Solutions

Building a Premier Business Community

Andrew Byrne, a director at CBRE who represented building owner Princes Group, welcomed Pro Global to the iconic location. He pointed out that the insurance advisory firm complements a strong and growing roster of occupiers in the building, which also includes Intellica, Evelyn Partners, Barnett Waddingham, and Mott MacDonald. This consolidation of professional services firms reinforces the Royal Liver Building's status as a premier business address in Liverpool.

The move, finalised in January 2026, solidifies Pro Global's position in the North West market. With its existing base in Gloucester and its London headquarters, the expansion in Liverpool establishes the city as a key regional hub for the company's UK-wide operations.
