Cat with Broken Pelvis Found on West Midlands Road Seeks New Home
Cat with Broken Pelvis Found on West Midlands Road

A cat discovered with a broken pelvis at the side of a road in the West Midlands is now on the road to recovery and looking for a forever home. The feline, who has been named Lucky, was found by a passerby in a distressed state near a busy road. Rushed to a local veterinary clinic, Lucky underwent emergency surgery to repair the fractured pelvis.

Rescue and Recovery

The Good Samaritans who found Lucky contacted the RSPCA, who took over the care. RSPCA inspector Sarah Jones said, "Lucky was in terrible pain when we arrived. It's a miracle he survived being hit by a car. He's now recovering well after surgery and is a friendly, affectionate cat."

Search for a New Home

Once fully healed, Lucky will need a calm, indoor home where he can live safely. The RSPCA is seeking adopters who can provide a quiet environment. "He'll need a patient owner who understands his past trauma," Jones added. "He's a survivor and deserves a second chance."
