A community chest competition has been launched in Edenfield, offering a local good cause the chance to receive a £500 donation. Taylor Wimpey is encouraging residents across the village to nominate those most deserving of support, whether it is a local charity that relies on donations to carry out its work in the community or a group that makes a real difference to local people.
How to Nominate
Rachel Barber, sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey Manchester, said: "We recognise the importance of giving something back to the communities in which we build, and there’s no one better than local people to let us know who is making a real difference. Whether it is a local charity that relies on donations to carry out its work in the community, or a group or organisation that offers invaluable support to local people, we want to hear who you think would benefit from a £500 donation from us."
Submission Details
Suggestions can be made by emailing the name of the nominee, along with a brief description of why they have been chosen, to edenfieldcommunity@taylorwimpey-pr.co.uk. All nominations must be received by May 31, 2026. The homebuilder will then select one group or organisation to receive the £500 boost.
