A regional housebuilder has achieved a fundraising success after generating thousands of pounds for a wonderful local charity. Allison Homes Central hosted a special charity golf day at the beautiful Belton Woods Golf Resort and Spa in Grantham. The event brought together 18 teams made up of employees, partners and subcontractors for a day of friendly competition, networking and fundraising. Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone involved, the final fundraising total reached £7,000. Every single penny raised will help Little Miracles continue supporting children, young people and families across the region.
Supporting Children and Families
The wonderful charity supports families with children and young people aged up to 25 who have additional needs, disabilities or life-limiting conditions. They provide inclusive activities, specialist support and safe spaces for families to connect.
Event Details and Sponsors
The event, held on Wednesday, June 10, was generously supported by main sponsor MV Kelly, alongside a number of valued partners and subcontractors whose contributions helped make the day a huge success. Teams took part in an 18-hole competition on the Woods Course, alongside on-course challenges including a 'Hole-in-One' competition offering a £10,000 prize. Scores were tracked live throughout the day to add to the competitive spirit, and the event was rounded off with a raffle to raise even more funds.
Ongoing Commitment to Community
The charity golf day forms part of Allison Homes Central’s ongoing commitment to supporting charities and community initiatives in the areas in which it builds. Adam Knight, managing director at Allison Homes Central, said: 'We’re extremely proud to have raised £7,000 for Little Miracles through our charity golf day. It was fantastic to bring together our colleagues, partners and subcontractors for such an enjoyable event, while supporting a charity that provides vital help to children, young people and families across the region. We’re very grateful to everyone who took part, sponsored the day or helped make the event possible. Their generosity will help Little Miracles continue delivering important support to families who need it most.'
Gratitude from Little Miracles
Louise Evans, head of income generation at Little Miracles, commented: 'On behalf of everyone at Little Miracles Charity, I would like to say a huge thank you to Allison Homes for raising an incredible £7,000 at its recent charity golf day. At Little Miracles, we support families of children with additional needs, disabilities and life-limiting conditions, providing the support, advice and community that helps families know they are not facing their challenges alone. The money raised will make a huge difference to the families who rely on our services, and we simply couldn't do what we do without the support of businesses like Allison Homes. We're also incredibly grateful to everyone who took part in the day, gave so generously and helped make it such a success.'
