A Midland father was fatally stabbed at his £2.5 million mansion just hours after enjoying his village football club's end-of-season awards celebration. Company boss Neil Muller, 54, was discovered with stab wounds at a luxury address in Claverdon, near Henley-in-Arden, early on Sunday, June 7.
Final Hours at the Red Lion Pub
Mr Muller was heavily involved in running Claverdon Football Club and spent some of his last hours at the village's Red Lion pub, which hosted the awards night. He was later found stabbed inside a gated, five-bedroom property nearby.
Tributes from Node4
Mr Muller was CEO of Node4, a Derby-based IT services firm. The company paid tribute, stating he made 'a meaningful impact in a short space of time.' A Node4 spokesman said: 'We are absolutely devastated by the death of our CEO Neil Muller. Although Neil only recently joined Node4, he made a meaningful impact in a short space of time. He brought real energy, momentum and passion to the business, and his loss will be deeply felt by people across Node4 and the wider industry. Our thoughts are with Neil's family, our colleagues and everyone who knew Neil at this very difficult time.'
Mr Muller joined Node4 in April, having previously led MSP Digital Space for seven years.
