Moya Cole Hospice has announced the return of its popular Warehouse Clearance Sale, offering items at even lower prices than before. The event will take place at the hospice's Distribution Centre, located at Unit A1 in Bankfield Industrial Estate, Stockport, on Saturday, June 6, from 9am to 11am.
Shoppers can browse a wide selection of bric-a-brac, homeware, books, and more, with most items priced at just 50p each. Books are available at a special rate of five for £1. This sale provides an excellent opportunity to pick up bargains while supporting a worthy cause.
In addition to the clearance sale, the hospice is organizing a drive-through donation day on Saturday, June 20, from 10am to noon at the same location. This initiative makes donating unwanted goods simple and convenient. Donors can drive to the Distribution Centre and stay in their vehicles while staff unload donations. Accepted items include clothes, furniture, homewares, and other household goods. By participating, donors will help stock the hospice's charity shops and support both the environment and their local hospice.
Moya Cole Hospice relies on donations to keep its shops supplied and to raise essential funds for patient care. The hospice provides holistic care to individuals with life-limiting illnesses, including inpatient care, day therapy, and supportive outpatient services at its sites in Heald Green, Stockport, and Little Hulton, Salford. Community and outreach services are also available, such as the Hospice at Home service in Salford and Trafford, the Community Specialist Palliative Care Team in Salford, and a homelessness palliative care service in Manchester. A 24-hour telephone advice line supports patients, carers, and healthcare professionals in Salford, Manchester, Trafford, and Stockport.
